Dermal Fillers

Restore lost volume, smooth deep lines, and subtly enhance your facial features for a naturally refreshed contour.
We use dermal fillers (typically hyaluronic acid) injected beneath the skin to smooth lines, soften creases, and enhance facial contours without surgery. Dermal fillers also helps to restore lost volume that we lose due to changes in our facial anatomy with age.

What can you expect?

  • Blood Thinners: Speak to us if you are on any blood thinners, and we will discuss if we should hold them prior to your appointment to minimize bruising.
  • No Alcohol: Skip the alcohol for 24 hours before and after your procedure to minimize risk of bruising.
  • Skin Prep: Arrive the day of your procedure with no makeup, moisturizers, or sunscreen. We’ll take it from here.
  • Numbing: We apply a topical numbing cream or ice to ensure comfort during the process.
  • The Injection: Your provider will use a fine needle or cannula to place the filler; the actual injection time is usually 15–30 minutes depending on your needs.
  • Instant Gratification: Unlike some treatments, volume results are visible immediately, though they will settle over two weeks.
  • Hands Off: Do not massage or rub the treated area for 24 hours unless instructed by your provider. Some swelling, bruising, and pain is common and typically resolve spontaneously within days. Avoid makeup for at least 24 hours to reduce risk of infection.
  • Take it Easy: Avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat (saunas, hot yoga) for 48 hours to keep swelling down.
  • Sleep Elevated: Try to sleep on your back with your head slightly elevated for the first night.
