Neuromodulators
Botox & Dysport
Botox and Dysport are wrinkle relaxers that are placed strategically in the face to soften fine lines and wrinkles, and their uses go well beyond that. Where they are placed changes what they can do, which is why every plan starts with a consultation about your goals and whether you are a good candidate.
Dr. Ali performs every treatment with a light, natural touch.

Your treatment, step by step
- 1
Consultation
Dr. Ali starts with your history and goals, then asks you to make facial movements to see how your muscles work. From there she marks your injection points directly on the skin, which is how she decides exactly where and how much to place.
- 2
Injections
Then comes the fun part! The actual injections are done with a very fine needle, and each injection point takes just seconds. The whole injection process is over in a few minutes.
- 3
Right after
You might have tiny bumps like mosquito bites for a short while, and occasionally a little redness or a small bruise. Follow the post-care instructions and we’ll see you at your two week follow-up!

- softening starts around 2 to 3 days (you may notice Dysport start kicking in within 24 hours).

Tell us if any of these apply
Wrinkle relaxers have a strong safety record with a physician, but they aren’t for everyone. Tell Dr. Ali at your consultation if any of these apply:
- Pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning pregnancy
- Needs consultation: a neuromuscular condition (such as myasthenia gravis, ALS, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome)
- A known allergy to botulinum toxin or any ingredient
- An active skin infection or breakout at the injection site
- Certain medications (for example, some muscle relaxers or antibiotics), so disclose everything, including supplements
A blood thinner may not rule you out. It can just mean more chance of minor bruising, and Dr. Ali will advise you.

Wrinkle Relaxers FAQ
Will I look frozen?
Not with a skilled injector. Dr. Ali aims for natural results, so you’ll still smile, frown, and raise your brows, just with softer lines.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel only a quick pinch. The needle is very fine, and numbing is available.
Botox or Dysport, which is better?
Both work well. Dysport spreads a bit more (nice for the forehead), and Botox is more precise. Dr. Ali will recommend the best fit.
Can I combine it with filler?
Yes, and many people do for a fuller refresh. Dr. Ali will plan the timing and placement.
What if I want to adjust the result?
Come back at about 2 weeks, once the full effect has settled. That is when we assess and fine-tune if anything needs it.
What does it cost?
Wrinkle relaxers are priced by the units your plan needs, so we confirm the cost at your consultation. Memberships are available.
